Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a unique blend of business acumen, leadership skills, and operational expertise. As an Asset Protection Operations Coach at Walmart, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, leading high-performing teams, and ensuring the security and integrity of our stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and revenue, while maintaining a strong focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Lead High-Performing Teams: Recruit, train, and develop a team of asset protection specialists who are equipped to handle a wide range of responsibilities, from investigating incidents to providing excellent customer service.
  • Ensure Store Security: Develop and implement effective security protocols to prevent theft, vandalism, and other forms of loss, while also ensuring the safety and well-being of our associates and customers.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with other departments, such as operations, merchandising, and human resources, to ensure that asset protection initiatives are aligned with overall business objectives.
Requirements
  • 2 Years of College: A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, criminal justice, or a related field.
  • Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role, preferably in a retail or asset protection environment.
  • Asset Protection Experience: At least 1 year of experience in asset protection, preferably in a retail or similar environment.
  • Certifications: Possession of a current, state-issued Certificate of Eligibility, as well as any other relevant certifications or training.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management and Leadership: A bachelor's degree in business management and leadership, preferably from a reputable institution.
  • Certification in Asset Protection: Possession of a certification in asset protection, such as Loss Prevention Qualified or Loss Prevention Certified.
  • Investigative Experience: At least 1 year of experience in investigative work, preferably in a retail or asset protection environment.
