About the Role

The Principal Systems Analyst will be responsible for analyzing current and new business and technical processes, identifying system interfaces and dependencies, and documenting process and system flows. You will work closely with our squads and business teams to analyze and reverse-engineer existing and new applications, translate their functions, and build clear technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in business-critical applications, with a background in business-facing tooling
  • Highly analytical and able to assess magnitude and impact of work, down to the story level
  • Ability to read and navigate through technologies, including modern service-based application tiers, SQL, API design, and validation
  • Knowledge of Java,.NET, MSFT development ecosystem, or similar technologies
  • Experience with relational databases, such as Oracle, and non-SQL databases
  • Moderate to advanced analysis expertise of end-to-end processes, leveraging tools and techniques for presenting and analyzing data
  • Data-driven and able to measure, collect, and use data to make decisions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with technical expertise to drive outcomes and influence others
  • Expertise in defining test cases and ensuring acceptance criteria matches real business value
  • Passion for providing guidance on standard methodologies and mentoring support to other Systems Analysts
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, with a focus on AWS, including familiarity with cloud migration strategies and tools
