Blood Collection Specialist

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Blood Collection Specialist to join our team at the American Red Cross. As a Blood Collection Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient collection of blood donations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our team to transport and set up equipment at blood drive locations
- Create a welcoming and comfortable environment for volunteer donors
- Follow all safety procedures while collecting blood donations
- May drive Red Cross vehicles and work with the team to set up and tear down equipment at donation sites
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Customer service experience and effective verbal communication skills required
- A current, valid driver's license with good driving record required
- DOT certification may be required in some locations
