Job Title: Phlebotomy Specialist III - Float
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Phlebotomy Specialist III - Float to join our team at Mindlance. As a Phlebotomy Specialist III - Float, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a variety of settings, including doctor's offices and patient service centers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect blood samples from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary collection.
- Prepare blood samples for laboratory testing by labeling and packaging them according to established procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, including demographic data and laboratory results.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, using good judgment and problem-solving skills to resolve issues that may arise.
- Travel to multiple locations to cover shifts and provide coverage as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; medical training or phlebotomy certification preferred.
- Three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric and geriatric collections, required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record required, if applicable.
