About the Job:
This role requires a highly skilled engineer to design and develop digital beamforming systems for satellite communications. As a member of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to define the system specifications, implement calibration architectures, and conduct trade-off studies. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology that enables space exploration.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teams to drive system specifications for phased array systems architecture.
- Design and optimize calibration architectures, silicon implementations, and system-level implementations.
- Conduct performance, power, cost, complexity, and reliability trade-off studies for digital beamforming systems.
- Develop test plans and procedures for digital beamforming systems.
- Develop software and tools for digital beamforming systems.

Requirements and Qualifications:
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or applied mathematics with coursework and research work on signal processing.
- 3+ years of relevant research and/or industry experience.
- 1+ year of experience with a programming language such as C, C++, or Python.

Preferred Skills and Experience:
- PhD in electrical engineering, computer science, or applied mathematics with coursework and research work on signal processing.
- Previous work or research experience in beamforming systems.
- Familiarity with FPGA programming.
- Familiarity with existing beamforming systems and industry trends.

Salary Estimate: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
