Role Summary

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for guests, handling all payment transactions according to established protocols.

  • Process cash and credit transactions accurately, including posting charges and preparing deposits.
  • Manage guest safe-deposit boxes, ensuring security and accessibility.
  • Communicate guest requests or issues to management for timely resolution.
  • Address guest complaints effectively, implementing service recovery strategies to ensure satisfaction.
  • Foster teamwork and quality service through effective communication with other departments.
  • Perform additional duties as required to uphold the standards of hospitality.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Strong communication skills, familiarity with the local area, and a passion for customer service are essential. Previous experience in front desk operations or hospitality is preferred. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Capable of handling various objects and operating computer systems.
  • Strong communication, reading, writing, and basic math skills are necessary.
  • Problem-solving and motivational skills are often utilized.
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
