Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Tanker Truck Driver to join our team at Wynne Transport Service, Inc. in Des Moines, Iowa. As a Tanker Truck Driver, you will be responsible for hauling petroleum products in and around Des Moines, Iowa.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive tanker trucks to transport petroleum products in and around Des Moines, Iowa.
  • Ensure safe and efficient transportation of products, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Submit customer paperwork and deposits, including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements.
  • Class A CDL without the following restrictions: Manual (E), Air brakes (L, Z), Night driving (G), No semi-trailer (O), Intrastate only (K) or Medical variance (M).
  • Clean motor vehicle license.
  • 2 years of recent driving experience preferred.
  • 12 months minimum of recent driving experience.
  • 12 months of tractor trailer experience in the last 5 years.
  • Experience must be with a 36 ft. trailer minimum.
  • TWIC must be obtained by OTR drivers.
  • Must have a valid DOT medical card.
  • Pass a urine drug test.
  • English proficiency is required.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
