Vacuum Truck Operator / Biofuel Feedstock Procurement Specialist

Position Description:The Vacuum Truck Operator position at Blue Ridge Biofuels operates BRB fleet vehicles, including vacuum trucks, Class A CDL Tanker Trucks, Fuel Delivery Trucks, Boom Trucks, and Box Trucks. The main objective is to collect used cooking oil from restaurant clients, retail clients, and other industrial suppliers throughout the South East. Other duties include delivering and removing collection containers from clients, delivering biodiesel blends to customers, general maintenance and cleaning of vehicles, equipment and places of business. 
Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Maintain valid CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsement including medical card.
  • Operate BRB vehicles and equipment in a safe manner.
  • Complete all driver logs including all pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
  • Maintain clean vehicles both inside and out.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance. 
  • Provide courteous client service.
  • Be on time.
  • Complete all routes in a timely manner. 
  • Perform other duties as needed and requested.

Pay Rate:
  • Depends on experience.
  • Paid Holidays.
  • 4 weeks paid time off for Full Time (calculates per hour worked).
  • Workers’ comp insurance coverage.
  • Sep IRA retirement plan after 90 days.
  • (BRB will contribute up to 5% of monthly salary into a Sep IRA. No employee contribution required).
  • Uniforms and work boots.
  • A positive work environment.
 Qualifications:
  • Class B CDL with Tanker endorsements.
  • Class A CDL preferred.
  • At least 2 years of Commercial Driving experience.
  • Excellent client service skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively with a team.
