Job Summary

This position serves as a Civil Engineering Technician for the Canyon Country District, supporting project construction and maintenance under the supervision of a professional Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a broad range of technical engineering functions, including project design, survey, and inspection.
  • Prepare and administer engineering construction, supply, and service contracts.
  • Manage and maintain asset management databases, including data entry and site visits.
  • Perform materials tests and suggest solutions for construction or repair of standard facilities or features.
  • Prepare, interpret, and present drawings, plans, and specifications.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must be able to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
