Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair heavy equipment, including trucks, excavators, and bulldozers
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
  • Inspect equipment to identify potential issues and recommend repairs
  • Communicate with Equipment Manager and Site Supervisors to prioritize equipment needs
  • Weld and fabricate equipment parts as needed
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic
  • Troubleshooting and repair experience with power train, hydraulic, air, and electrical systems
  • Ability to obtain security clearances for access to military installation job sites
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in environmental or construction industries
  • OSHA 30-hour certification
  • HAZWOPER certification
  • Welding certifications
  • Class A CDL
