CNA/Medication Manager

Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate CNA/Medication Manager to join our team. As a CNA/Medication Manager, you will be responsible for providing care, supervision, and support to our residents, as well as assisting with medication management under the direction of the delegating nurse.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs) as needed and/or desired by residents, including dressing, bathing, personal hygiene, and use of telephone, housekeeping tasks, laundry, etc.
- Be accessible to each resident per CODE ALERT emergency system.
- Monitor each resident's patterns of living, physical condition, and/or cognitive/emotional status and report status to the House Supervisor or Director.
- Assist with housekeeping and dietary functions, including escorting residents to and from the dining room for meals, setting up, serving meals, busing tables, doing dishes, and undertaking domestic duties such as emptying waste containers, vacuuming, general cleaning, washing, ironing, making beds, and changing linens.
- Provide companionship, friendship, and emotional support during resident-centered daily activities.
- Relate to residents, staff, and guests in a courteous and diplomatic manner under all circumstances.
- Assist residents with self-administration of medications, including monitoring of medication supplies and documentation, or administer medications as directed in the Service Plan.
- Record in the resident's chart as needed.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in healthcare, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. You will also need to be able to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, as well as stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
