About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Vehicle Sales Consultant to join our team at Pensacola Honda. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling vehicles and meeting dealership gross profit, volume, and customer satisfaction standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure that every customer leaves the dealership satisfied with their purchase experience.
  • Vehicle Demonstrations: Demonstrate vehicles to customers, including test drives, to showcase the features and benefits of our products.
  • Vehicle Delivery: Deliver vehicles to customers, ensuring they understand the vehicle's operating features, warranty, and paperwork.
  • Personal Income Goals: Establish and meet personal income goals that align with dealership standards of productivity.
  • Reporting and Communication: Regularly report to the Vehicle Sales Manager on objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on incoming inventory, features, accessories, and how they benefit customers.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the service department and body shop to ensure vehicles are reconditioned as expected and on schedule.
  • Training and Development: Attend sales meetings and training offered by the dealership and manufacturer to stay current on industry developments.
  • Prospect Development: Maintain a prospect development system to identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
  • Owner Follow-up: Develop and maintain an owner follow-up system to encourage repeat and referral business.
  • Performance Analysis: Regularly review and analyze actions to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Product Knowledge: Ability to understand and explain the features and benefits of our products.
  • Customer Service: Strong customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with the sales team, service department, and body shop.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing sales environments and customer needs.
