Job Title: Regional Family Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Elevance Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services in our clinical setting.

Job Summary:

The Regional Family Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for administering ordered therapies, completing admission processes, performing physical assessments, documenting patient data, and communicating effectively with other healthcare team members. You will also be responsible for evaluating patient responses to therapy, educating patients and families, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer ordered therapies according to prescriber orders, facility protocols, and company policies.
  • Complete admission processes as directed by the Center Director.
  • Perform physical assessments on patients as warranted and for new consults.
  • Document all pertinent data in patient medical records.
  • Communicate effectively with other healthcare team members on patient status and observations.
  • Evaluate patient responses to therapy and document findings in medical records.
  • Provide education to patients and families on therapy plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure medication orders are complete, accurate, and up-to-date prior to treatment.
  • Participate in on-call programs, including after-hours, weekend, and holiday calls and visitations.
  • Provide clinical coverage for nurse practitioners on PTO/LOA and support new market launches.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing and minimum of 2 years of related experience with clinical emphasis for nurse practitioner.
  • Experience with IVs required.
  • Current, active, and valid unrestricted NP license to practice as a healthcare professional with scope of license in applicable state.
  • Active, current, and valid Family Nurse Practitioner Certification.
  • Multi-state licensure required if providing services in multiple states.
  • Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test and Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver.
Preferred Skills:
  • Healthcare experience with IVs strongly preferred.
  • 2 years of experience with IVs preferred.
  • Port, PICC, and Peripheral Line experience preferred.
  • Medication Mixing experience preferred.
  • Titration experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 6 centers across Missouri and Colorado, highly preferred.

The salary range for this position is $51.61 to $64.51 per hour, based on a number of legitimate, non-discriminatory factors set by the Company.
