Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care, and we are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician II to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician II, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of patient medication lists and communicating with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Validate prior-to-admission medication lists and take medication & allergy history from patients.
  • Contact outpatient entities as needed for additional patient medication information.
  • Communicate information to healthcare teams.
  • Document/correct information in patient medication lists in EPIC.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of hospital pharmacy technician experience required.
  • Current NJ registration (or eligible upon hire).
  • Able to complete basic pharmaceutical calculations.

Education Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

License/Certification Requirements

  • NJ Pharmacy Technician Certification (NJ PHARTEC)
