We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Surgical Technician to join our team at Lakeview Hospital. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Prepare and maintain the operating room environment, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available and functioning properly.
- Participate in safety initiatives to ensure correct patient identification and verification of procedures to be performed.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent.
- Completion of a surgical technologist program or comparable experience.
- One year of operating room experience preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
