Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for identifying, planning, and providing services to students who meet eligibility requirements for the speech-language program. You will work closely with professionals and parents to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom and home environments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assess students' communication skills to identify communication disorders, determine program eligibility, and develop recommendations for treatment.
  2. Assure placement of students in the speech-language program and develop and implement speech-language goals/objectives on individualized education plans according to established procedures.
  3. Participate in IEP meetings.
  4. Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance.
  5. Collaborate with a variety of groups and/or individuals to integrate speech-language goals into the classroom, other educational programs, and the home environment.
  6. Report and maintain student data to assess progress and continuation or termination of services.
  7. Instruct eligible students in the use of appropriate communication technologies such as hearing aids, FM systems, and augmentative communication devices.
  8. Participate in RTI process at local school level as needed.
  9. Report information required for local, state, and federal programs.
  10. Participate in professional learning opportunities provided.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by appropriate administrator.
