Job Summary:
The Truist Summer Internship Program at AFCO Direct offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in the premium finance industry. As an intern, you will play a key role in supporting internal and external stakeholders in various departments, expanding your collaborative team skills, business-to-business acumen, and technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with assigned areas of the company to expand knowledge of B2B lending, the insurance industry, and the company.
- Complete specific projects for departments.
- Assist department staff with various tasks in support of business.
- Participate in internship meetings and discussions across Truist and AFCO Direct.
Requirements:
- Must be a rising college junior or senior.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with teammates at all levels of the organization and with a variety of people from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and details.
- Ability to operate a computer with Windows knowledge; Word and Excel preferred.
- Ability to adhere to all organizational policies and procedures.
- Ability to work virtually or in an assigned company office.
Benefits:
As a Truist teammate, you will be eligible for a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accidental death and dismemberment, tax-preferred savings accounts, and a 401k plan. You will also receive no less than 10 days of vacation and 10 sick days during your first year of employment, along with paid holidays.
