About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at OhioHealth. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Radiation Oncology department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist, ensuring accurate and safe administration of treatments.
  • Prepare patients for radiation therapy, including simulation, dose calculations, and acquisition of treatment parameters.
  • Collaborate with the Radiation Oncology team to ensure seamless patient care and effective treatment outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to regulatory requirements and OhioHealth standards.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest radiation therapy techniques and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Associate's Degree in Radiation Therapy or related field.
  • ARRT certification and licensure to practice in the State of Ohio.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
