Job Summary: As a Meat Department Leader at Albertsons, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the meat department, ensuring a superior quality product and exceptional customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills, a passion for delivering results, and the ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Maintains a high level of customer satisfaction by ensuring a clean, well-stocked, and organized meat department.
• Oversees the receiving, processing, and stocking of meat products, ensuring accurate inventory management and minimal shrink.
• Trains and develops team members to meet customer needs and achieve sales goals.
• Maintains accurate records, reports, and logs as required by company policies.
• Adheres to company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ensures compliance with company standards for product handling, rotation, and disposal.
• Collaborates with other teams to achieve company goals and objectives.
• Maintains a positive and professional attitude, providing excellent customer service and promoting a team-oriented work environment.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a meat department or related role, preferably in a retail environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train team members.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail, with the ability to accurately manage inventory and financial data.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for long periods, with the ability to manage the demands of a fast-paced retail environment.
