Human Resources Director

The Human Resources Director will lead the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy of The Good Shepherd Community Clinic, Inc. This role will oversee the performance of team members, provide decision support through HR metrics, and ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Responsibilities
• Lead and manage HR functions, including talent management, organizational development, and employee relations
• Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
• Oversee the performance of team members, provide decision support through HR metrics, and ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
• Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
• Provide leadership and management coaching to department leaders and managers
• Develop and implement training and development plans for employees
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations
Requirements
• A BS/BA degree from an accredited college or university; MBA or MA/MS in human resources or business-related field preferred
• A minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years of executive HR experience preferred
• SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred
• In-depth knowledge of employment-related laws, regulations, and best practices
• Knowledge and experience with varied human resource information systems and data bases

Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to sit, walk and stand; talk and hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment; reach with hands and arms and lift up to 25 pounds.
From time to time, it may be necessary to consider changes in the job description in response to the changing nature of our work environment. Such a change may be initiated as necessary by the manager of this position. The Job Description may be reviewed as part of the preparation for performance planning for the annual performance cycle.
