Special Education Teacher Opportunity

Soliant Education is seeking an experienced Special Education Teacher to support students with significant behavioral challenges in a combination of general education and special education classroom setting.

Job Summary:

  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of students enrolled in the Special Education program.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students with significant behavioral challenges, fostering academic and social-emotional growth.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize evidence-based practices and behavior management techniques to address challenging behaviors and promote positive outcomes for students.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, behavior interventions, and communication with parents and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Valid Maryland teaching license with Special Education certification.
  • Experience working with students with significant behavioral challenges preferred.
  • Strong understanding of behavior management strategies and evidence-based interventions.

Location: Easton, MD. The salary for this position is estimated to be around $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
