Job Title: CTSS Mental Health Practitioner

South Central Human Relations Center is a leading provider of mental health services, dedicated to delivering high-quality care to individuals and families in our community.

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate CTSS Mental Health Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide community-based rehabilitative services to children and adolescents with mental illness and their families.

Job Summary:

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. As a CTSS Mental Health Practitioner, you will provide individual, family, and group skills training in the client's home, community, or agency setting. Your goal will be to restore the social and emotional functioning of the child/adolescent that has been delayed or impaired due to a psychiatric illness.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide culturally competent mental health skills services to children/adolescents with mental illness and their families.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and their families.
  • Facilitate or co-facilitate group skills training in an agency setting.
  • Coordinate treatment planning meetings with clients, families, team members, and natural supports as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records of all billable services and telephone contact with clients and their families.
  • Participate in clinical supervision and ongoing professional development to ensure best practices in mental health care.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree or other graduate-level degree in a behavioral science or related field.
  • 2000 hours of supervised experience in the delivery of mental health services to individuals with mental illness.
  • Ability to work non-traditional hours, including late afternoons and early evenings.
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software.
