The Robotic Welding Operator is a critical role at Metalworks Inc, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all robotically automated welding cells. This position requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and machine operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Excellence: Practice smart operating techniques to ensure the safety of the entire team and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Cell Setup and Maintenance: Set up new jobs on all cells, ensuring accurate and efficient production operation.
  • Troubleshooting and Quality Control: Troubleshoot faults experienced during automated production, inspect parts, and quarantine non-conforming parts.
  • Data Recording and Reporting: Accurately record job progress data, both manually and through the Metalworks ERP system.
Requirements
  • Manufacturing and machine operating experience is necessary for this position.
  • Some welding experience is preferred.
  • On-the-job training will be provided.
