About the Job

Aircraft Electrical and Environmental Systems specialists play a critical role in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of our aircraft. As a member of the Air Force Reserve, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing the wiring and electrical components on our aircraft, ensuring that they are working at optimal condition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and environmental systems
  • Repair or replace any malfunctioning parts
  • Perform cryogenic maintenance on mobile aircraft servicing units
  • Ensure compliance with technical publications and directives
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ASVAB scores in Mechanical and Electronics
  • Normal color vision
  • Completion of Basic Military Training
  • Between the ages of 17 and 39
Training and Education

As an Aircraft Electrical and Environmental Systems specialist, you will undergo rigorous training and education to develop your skills and knowledge. This includes:
