Key Responsibilities
- Conduct tests to ensure that systems and components are secure and functioning correctly.
- Identify and isolate systems or components that may be malfunctioning.
- Perform vehicle tests for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintain high levels of efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
- Replace or repair worn parts proactively to prevent vehicle breakdowns.
- Utilize power tools, machine tools, and hand tools to complete various tasks.
Compensation Structure
- Starting hourly wage of $16.00.
- Eligibility for a monthly performance bonus.
Qualifications
- Proficient in quickly identifying automotive issues.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle mechanics.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Solid reading, computer, and mathematical abilities.
- Eager to learn new technologies and repair procedures.
- Comfortable using electronic diagnostic tools.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferred.
- ASE certifications are a plus.
- Minimum of one year of experience in an automotive service department.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced work environment.
- Basic computer skills are necessary.
- Must possess a positive and friendly demeanor.
