About the Role

Amazon is seeking a seasoned Software Development Manager to lead the development of the Neuron SDK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, testing, and deployment of this critical software component.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to a team of engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of the Neuron SDK.
  2. Project Management: Manage project plans, delivery commitments, and resource allocation to ensure timely and high-quality results.
  3. Team Management: Lead and manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team within an Agile/Scrum environment.
  4. Resource Management: Oversee departmental resources, staffing, mentoring, enhancement, and maintenance of a best-of-class engineering team.
  5. Reporting and Communication: Report on the status of development, quality, operations, and system performance to management.
Requirements:

10+ years of engineering experience, 5+ years of engineering team management experience, 10+ years of planning, designing, developing, and delivering consumer software experience, experience partnering with product or program management teams, and experience managing multiple concurrent programs, projects, and development teams in an Agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience partnering with product and program management teams, experience designing and developing large-scale, high-traffic applications.
