Compensation Range: $250,000 - $300,000 / Year

Responsibilities

Patient Care:

  • Assess and manage a variety of medical conditions.
  • Formulate and execute detailed treatment plans.
  • Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and patient histories.

Communication:

  • Effectively engage with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Deliver clear and concise medical information.
  • Encourage a collaborative, patient-centered healthcare approach.

Documentation:

  • Maintain precise and current patient records.
  • Document clinical findings, diagnoses, and treatment strategies.
  • Ensure adherence to coding and billing standards.

Diagnostic Procedures:

  • Order and interpret necessary diagnostic tests, including laboratory work and imaging.
  • Perform medical procedures as required.
  • Collaborate with specialists for advanced diagnostic assessments.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work alongside nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
  • Provide consultative support to fellow healthcare providers.

Quality Improvement:

  • Participate in initiatives aimed at quality assurance and enhancement.
  • Review and analyze clinical outcomes for ongoing improvement.
  • Implement strategies to elevate patient care and safety.

Compliance:

  • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
  • Stay updated on healthcare regulations and compliance obligations.
  • Engage in quality audits to ensure adherence to established standards.

Continuous Learning:

  • Remain informed about advancements in medical science and best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing medical education and professional development.
  • Contribute to the formulation of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

  • A valid and unrestricted medical license in California.
  • Board eligible or board certified in the relevant medical specialty (ABMS or AOA).
  • Completion of an accredited residency training program.

Pay Range:

$144.23 /hour
