Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced RN MDS Coordinator to join our team at a luxury Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Camarillo. As an RN MDS Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

Responsibilities
  • Clinical Responsibilities:
    • Coordinate the Medicare/MDS resident assessment process.
    • Ensure the Interdisciplinary Team completes the MDS Assessment in a timely manner.
    • Develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care for residents.
    • Coordinate and perform treatments, medications, or other nursing interventions as indicated by the resident plan of care or as ordered by the physician.
    • Provide nursing care in accordance with infection control standards.
    • Follow safety policies in performing nursing care.
    • Initiate emergency measures as needed according to policy and within standards of nursing practice.
  • Administrative Responsibilities:
    • Ensure the exchange and use of essential information necessary for quality resident care.
    • Maintain accurate and complete documentation as required by Federal and State regulations and Company policy.
    • Participate in all assigned meetings and in-services.
Requirements
  • Current State Nurse License
  • Good Written and Oral communication
  • Administrative and organizational ability and skills
  • Current certification in CPR preferred
  • Two years RN nursing experience in long term care
  • Supervisory experience
Benefits

Our client offers a competitive salary range of $90,000-$120,000 per year depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
