Key Responsibilities
  • Calibrate, repair, and troubleshoot various analytical instrumentation, including Flow, Pressure, Level, and Temperature.
  • Maintain and repair PLC and SCADA related field equipment.
  • Coordinate with site vendors for commissioning process equipment and initiating SCADA systems.
  • Provide technical support and resolve customer inquiries and issues.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Perform equipment inspections and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Collaborate with team members to address complex technical challenges.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in industrial environments.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of service activities, repairs, and installations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and foster strong client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license.
  • 2-year technical degree or 5 years of relevant experience in Instrumentation, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Electromechanical Technology.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC programming (hardware and software) is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and P&ID drawings.
  • Experience with terminating and testing ethernet, fiber, and copper communication cables is a plus.
  • Experience in building and wiring control panels.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interface with clients.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Must be comfortable with heights.
  • Ability to lift tools and equipment weighing up to 40lbs.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
  • Residence in the greater Richmond metro and surrounding areas is preferred.
