CT Technologist PRN Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist PRN to join our team at Alaska Regional Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will work closely with our radiologists to assist with various procedures and provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer oral and IV contrast, evaluate patients for allergic reactions, and place correct IVs for exams.
  • Perform diagnostic computed tomography procedures for neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Operate and understand CT scanning equipment, practice ALARA standards, and follow physician protocols.

Requirements:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician certification within 1 year of employment.
  • Vocational School Graduate.
