Lead CT Technologist Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead CT Technologist to join our team at Alaska Regional Hospital. As a key member of our radiology department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary

The Lead CT Technologist will be responsible for assisting the Director in planning and directing all CT services, as well as overseeing the performance improvement studies. You will work closely with the nursing staff, medical staff, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality patient care from admission to discharge in non-operating room areas
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with nursing staff, medical staff, and other departments
  • Consider the ages of patients when fulfilling patient care responsibilities
  • Obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient's needs, possess knowledge of growth and development, and have an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups
  • Work with the Director as Performance Improvement Coordinator, overseeing and compiling results of performance improvement studies
  • Collaborate with Administrative and Medical Director to identify and organize various PI studies
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Computerized Tomography Technician certification within 1 year of employment start date
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification
  • Vocational School Graduate
