Imaging Associates Of Alaska Job Description

This position provides cutting-edge care to all patients by performing technical work involving the operation and maintenance of computerized tomography equipment.

This position requires a professionally trained individual to produce computerized tomography images of designated anatomical areas as ordered/directed according to established practices and procedures.

This role involves working directly with Radiologists and patients, and operating the CT equipment and associated equipment.

This position demands advanced technical knowledge and the ability to communicate and interact with the department radiologists in regard to CT sequences and protocols.

This position, in addition to superb technical skills, will also require the ability to follow Imaging Associates Of Alaska's service commitments to customers and fellow staff.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of an AMA approved training program for radiologic technology
  • Current experience as a CT technologist is preferred
  • Must be ARRT registered
  • CT (ARRT) certification is preferred, but not required
  • Must obtain CT Registry within twelve (12) months of hire date
  • Current Certification in BLS

Qualifications

Requires the ability to work with a variety of people to include patients and their representatives, other staff, physicians and their staffs, vendors and regulatory personnel.

Ability to perform Diagnostic X-Ray is required. CT experience is beneficial.
