As a Coatings Specialist, you will be responsible for applying coatings to a wide variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures using various methods including brush, roll, spray, and electrostatic spray.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, sanding, and repairing as necessary
  • Apply undercoats and finish coats using the full range of application methods
  • Erect scaffolding and work from heights safely
  • Mix and match paints and finishes to achieve desired colors and textures
  • Inspect completed work to ensure conformance with specifications and regulations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a standard painter's apprenticeship program preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in painting and coating trade
  • Knowledge of applicable state codes and regulations, including Safety Orders of the Division of Industrial Safety of the State of California
  • Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Valid California Driver's License required

Estimated Salary: $64,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
