Job Summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care to our youngest patients, from 22 weeks gestation and up.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns and their families
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor and manage patient conditions, including respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological systems
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and evidence-based care

Requirements:

  • BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire
  • Experience as a NICU RN preferred
  • Two years of Acute Care experience strongly preferred
  • Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
  • BLS required
  • NRP certification required
