About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Lead Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Providence Kodiak Island Long Term Care in Kodiak, Alaska.

As a Lead Certified Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of caregivers. You will be responsible for modeling and teaching correct standards for resident care, assisting residents with activities of daily living, and performing supervisory duties for an assigned group of employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care and lead by example
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living and use of equipment
  • Perform supervisory duties for an assigned group of employees
  • Mentor and teach new CNAs and Nursing Assistant Trainees
  • Work under the supervision of a licensed nurse (RN or LPN) at all times
Requirements
  • Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
  • 1 year experience as CNA at Providence-Seward Mountain Haven
