Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Court Liaison to join our team at Universal Health Services. As a key member of our hospital administration, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our court-related activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient court activities in collaboration with other departments to ensure accurate and timely involuntary commitment paperwork completion, filing, and submission to the courts.
  • Develop and implement Performance Improvement plans to enhance court processes within the facility.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and address potential risks and compliance issues.
  • Provide exceptional written and verbal communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with pertinent federal, state, and local regulations, as well as JC, CMS, and related standards.
Requirements
  • High School Graduate; 2 years of college preferred.
  • Training in healthcare compliance activities, healthcare safety/risk management, hospital performance improvement activities, and hospital administration preferred.
  • Familiarity with legal proceedings and hospital procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
