Our clientele includes various federal government agencies, both civilian and defense.
D2DInc is currently seeking a Contract Specialist to provide dedicated support to a government client. The ideal candidate will possess a strong customer service orientation and a collaborative spirit, with the ability to work autonomously.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct quality assurance, manage documentation, and develop requirements along with pre-award documentation.
- Offer daily analytical and acquisition management support in creating acquisition packages, including Simplified Acquisition Packages (SAP).
- Assist in formulating procurement data packages and the necessary documentation for contractual processing.
- Gather data and present metrics in a visually appealing format to support strategic sourcing initiatives and procurement assessments.
- Prepare and deliver training materials to promote understanding of policy and strategic sourcing initiatives.
- Contribute to the creation of procurement packages, which may include writing technical specifications, Statements of Work (SOW), Statements of Objectives (SOO), market research reports, acquisition plans, cost estimates, and justifications.
- Generate Information Technology Procurement Requests (ITPRs) as needed and ensure their processing in the Naval Information Technology Approval System (NAV-ITAS).
- Manage large acquisition support packages within the Procurement Management Tool (PMT), including the development and updating of Procurement Initiation Documents (PID) and tracking milestone timelines.
- Provide guidance to enhance knowledge related to contract artifact development and execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of three (3) years of professional experience in DoD and/or DoN acquisition management support.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally and collaboratively, demonstrating decorum and discretion.
- Self-motivated individual who is a quick learner and can work with minimal supervision.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Active Secret clearance is required.
