Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and customer service while performing diagnostic imaging procedures in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Travel to perform portable x-rays and EKG exams in different settings, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services.
• Follow company policies and procedures for diagnostic imaging exams, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Collect and verify required order documentation and patient information, ensuring accurate and complete records.
• Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams, demonstrating empathy and compassion in every interaction.
• Operate portable radiologic equipment at patient's bedside or designated exam settings, utilizing expertise to optimize image quality.
• Determine exposure factors based on patient's characteristics, applying knowledge to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
• Demonstrate safe work practices, including radiation safety and infection control, to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Process and review images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission, ensuring high-quality results for medical professionals.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and company protocols.
• Assist with troubleshooting and problem solving of equipment and systems, collaborating with colleagues to resolve issues efficiently.
• Take care of the vehicle and ensure it is well stocked with necessary supplies, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) as a Radiologic Technologist RT (R).
• Valid state-issued driver's license and good driving record, ensuring safe and reliable transportation of equipment and personnel.
• Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds, demonstrating physical stamina and adaptability.
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends, accommodating the needs of patients and the company.
