  • Perform bank reconciliations and address any discrepancies swiftly.

Payroll Management:

  • Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll for all staff, ensuring compliance with regulations and accuracy.
  • Maintain and update payroll records diligently.
  • Address payroll-related inquiries from employees promptly.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of payroll records.
  • Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and implement necessary updates.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting and payroll administration is required.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and payroll systems is necessary.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and payroll regulations.
  • Commitment to supporting communities in need and alignment with NYCP's mission.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Google Drive and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
