Biostatistical Consultant II, Internal Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled Biostatistical Consultant II to join our dynamic team at UT Southwestern Medical Center. As a key member of our Division of General Internal Medicine, you will play a crucial role in supporting data management and analysis efforts in health policy, population health, and health services research studies.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and self-starting individual to work with national experts and build expertise in healthcare data. You will have the chance to develop statistical analysis plans, conduct analysis, and interpret results to inform decision-making.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with investigators to identify problems and provide statistical consultation, including design of experiments, analysis of data, interpretation of results, and preparation of reports.
- Develop statistical portions of manuscripts based on results of analysis and address manuscript revisions based on reviewer's comments.
- Assist client data organizations and perform statistical computations.
- Provide graphical and tabular representations and develop, maintain, and modify programs for in-house use.
- Collaborate with investigators in grant development, including statistical design of studies and preparation of statistical portions of grant proposals.
- Master's degree in biostatistics or a related discipline, or MPH with a concentration in biostatistics.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in statistical consulting, preferably in a biomedical or healthcare environment.
- Working knowledge of SAS, SPSS, or other major statistical packages (S+, R, etc.) and Microsoft Office (ACCESS and EXCEL).
