We are in search of a motivated and forward-thinking Senior Vice President for the Water Utility division to join our vibrant and forward-looking team.

The services offered by Utilities One include various aspects of water supply, sewer systems, and related facilities.

Water Supply and Distribution:

  • Water Distribution: Delivery of safe drinking water through pipelines to residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
  • Water Infrastructure Development: Construction and installation of essential components for water supply, including pipes, tanks, and meters.
  • System Maintenance: Regular maintenance and repairs of water supply systems to ensure safe and continuous delivery.
  • Pipeline Construction: Establishing pipelines that create the network for water distribution.
  • Water Treatment Facility Construction: Building facilities that treat water to ensure it is safe for consumption.
  • Pump Station Setup and Maintenance: Installation and upkeep of pump stations that facilitate water movement through the distribution network.
  • Hydraulic Engineering Services: Engineering solutions related to the flow and management of water.
  • Water Quality Assurance: Conducting regular testing and monitoring to ensure water meets health and safety standards.
  • Leak Detection and Remediation: Identifying and repairing leaks in the water distribution system to maintain system integrity.

Sewer Systems:

  • Directional Drilling: A technique for installing underground pipes and conduits, minimizing surface disruption during sewer line installation.

Facilities:

  • Water Infrastructure Development: Involves setting up facilities such as treatment plants and storage tanks.
  • Water Treatment Facility Construction: Establishing dedicated facilities for water treatment prior to distribution.
  • Pump Station Setup and Maintenance: Applicable to both water and sewer pump stations.
  • Hydraulic Engineering Services: Relevant to the design and functionality of both water and sewer systems.
  • Environmental Impact Assessments: Evaluations conducted for projects involving water and sewer facilities to ensure compliance with environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee and direct complex engineering projects related to the planning, design, and construction of various utility water initiatives for municipal, industrial, and private sectors.

· Lead the growth of our water utilities while managing project execution.

· Formulate a long-term growth strategy and perform market analysis to uncover new opportunities.

· Implement best practices, adopt new technologies, and enhance asset management to improve operations.

· Ensure adherence to regulations and advocate for sustainable water management practices.

· Enhance customer service and address client concerns effectively.

· Develop risk management strategies and refine emergency response protocols.

· Investigate geographic expansion and diversify service offerings.

· Improve service quality, promote sustainability, and drive organizational growth.

· Assess research methodologies and exercise sound judgment in prioritizing and resolving complex issues, weighing the costs and benefits of potential actions.

· Formulate a comprehensive P&L strategy for operations by analyzing historical financial and operational data, optimizing revenue through pricing strategies, and identifying cost-saving measures.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

· Extensive knowledge of water utilities principles, applied engineering, design, and construction.

· Proficient in leadership techniques, with the ability to assign, schedule, supervise, train, and evaluate team members.

· Strong project management skills, with a comprehensive understanding of organizing, planning, coordinating, and directing project functions.

· Ability to effectively plan and organize daily work routines.

· Solid technical background in engineering, design, and construction.

· Capability to work independently and collaboratively to meet client expectations.

· Strong interpersonal skills to foster professional relationships with colleagues, clients, and external organizations.
