About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at UC Davis Rehabilitation Hospital. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to patients with a wide range of conditions, including stroke, brain injury, neurological disorders, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify rehabilitation needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient needs and goals.
  • Provide evidence-based speech and language therapy to patients, including assessment, treatment, and education.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow (CFY).
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
