Technical Requirements

As a Local Support Technician at Independent Software, you will be responsible for fabricating, installing, maintaining, and repairing electronic, mechanical, and/or other types of components and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical concepts, as well as experience with Windows, desktops, Lexmark printers, and multifunctional devices. Additionally, you will need to possess excellent technical skills, including the ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues.

Responsibilities

- Fabricate, install, maintain, and repair electronic, mechanical, and/or other types of components and equipment
- Perform technical tasks and provide site support
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and interconnectivity issues
- Modify, move, and install new equipment

Requirements

- High School Diploma or GED and 10 years' experience or a bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience
- IAT Level 1 certification
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance
