Position Overview

The Director of Cyber and Information Security plays a pivotal role in overseeing Governance, Risk, and Compliance within the Cyber & Information Security domain. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), this leadership position is responsible for managing teams that focus on:
- IT/Security Compliance
- Security Policy Development, Oversight, and Education
- Risk Assessment Services

This role is instrumental in shaping the Cyber & Information Security strategy of the organization, working closely with IT and business units to ensure the successful execution of security programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team dedicated to the core pillars of Cyber & Information Security
  • Formulate and implement policies to strengthen the organization's security framework
  • Articulate security challenges and propose enhancements
  • Engage with stakeholders to establish and enforce security controls
  • Stay informed on industry trends and advancements in security technologies
  • Identify and recommend tools and protocols to achieve strategic security goals
  • Promote the adoption of best practices in security

Qualifications

Education and Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Risk Management, or a related discipline

Experience:

  • Over 10 years of experience in IT, cyber/information security, risk management, audit, and compliance
  • At least 5 years in cybersecurity leadership roles
  • Proven experience in developing and executing security controls
  • Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks such as NIST and ISO

Skills:

  • Proficient in leading teams and conducting objective risk assessments
  • Strong communication and relationship-building capabilities
  • Deep understanding of IT infrastructure and secure software development practices

Work Environment and Additional Requirements

  • Ability to work in both office and remote settings
  • May require flexibility in working hours
