Role Summary

The Solutions Architect will be responsible for gathering requirements, assessing existing systems, and overseeing implementation teams to enhance our clients' IT infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with the sales team to understand client needs, creating effective designs, and supporting project implementations.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to adapt designs based on evolving requirements and communicate complex technical issues in a clear, consultative manner.

Successful candidates will have a background in pre-sales engineering, senior system administration, or IT management, with experience supporting a user base of 250 to 300 individuals.

We are looking for an individual with a consultative approach and a friendly demeanor, eager to help clients improve their business operations by providing valuable recommendations and building trust.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with sales and IT consulting teams to identify and qualify business opportunities.
  • Establish strong, consultative relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Evaluate current systems architecture and recommend improvements in collaboration with technical staff.
  • Analyze the business implications of technical decisions.
  • Provide stakeholders with updates on product development, costs, and budgets.
  • Suggest integration strategies and enterprise architectures to implement comprehensive solutions using best practices.
  • Articulate the enterprise vision regarding technologies and solutions to clients, positioning the company as a thought leader.
  • Prioritize customer requirements and advocate for the resolution of product gaps.
  • Enhance personal skills and product knowledge to deliver exceptional service to clients.
  • Travel to client locations and industry events as necessary.

Additional responsibilities may include guiding project teams on the maintenance and upgrade of infrastructure components, ensuring adherence to Centre Technologies' methodologies.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, advanced system administration, or IT infrastructure design.
  • Familiarity with public and private cloud solutions.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Knowledge of data center technologies, including virtualization, compute, networking, and storage.
  • Relevant certifications, such as:
    • Microsoft Expert level in server, cloud, M365, etc.
    • Cisco networking or equivalent.
    • VMware certifications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
Work Environment
  • Work primarily in a climate-controlled setting with minimal health and safety risks.
  • Occasional after-hours work may be required for system updates and implementations.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds may be necessary.
