Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all operations within designated job groups, including distribution, loading dock, mailroom, linen, procurement, and coordination with external vendors.
  • Identify, develop, and implement strategies to enhance efficiency across assigned areas.
  • Collaborate with management teams to ensure operational needs are met effectively.
  • Ensure assignments are structured to align with departmental standards.
  • Manage workload forecasts and recommend adjustments to staffing levels to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Provide both technical and non-technical mentorship to staff, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Prepare and manage schedules to prioritize routine and non-routine tasks fairly among team members.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental policies and external regulations, maintaining all necessary documentation.
  • Supervise and guide the activities of assigned job groups.
  • Evaluate team performance and make recommendations regarding personnel actions.
  • Manage the hiring, orientation, and training processes for team members.
  • Oversee daily staff activities, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and within established timeframes.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to staff regarding performance, recognizing achievements and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in Materials Management or Healthcare.
  • Supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, with some flexibility required.
