We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at DTC Family Practice. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and families in a friendly and professional manner
- Register new patients and verify patient information for existing patients
- Collect co-pays and payments as needed
- Answer inbound calls to schedule patients and act as liaison to clinical staff for patient questions
- Complete administrative duties to ensure smooth patient visits and timely billing
- Make outbound calls to schedule appointments
- Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines
- Work effectively in a team environment and complete individual tasks efficiently
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Strong computer skills and experience with EMR systems preferred
- Customer service experience and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
