Job Title: Sr. Quality Supervisor

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of products in the Enhancers area. The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality systems, procedures, and policies, and will be able to lead and motivate a team of quality technicians. The role will involve monitoring and maintaining quality systems, conducting investigations, and implementing corrective actions to improve quality metrics. The candidate will also be responsible for supporting the development of new quality systems and programs, and for providing quality support for major commercialization projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain quality systems and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Conduct investigations to identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions to improve quality metrics.
  • Lead and motivate a team of quality technicians to ensure the effective implementation of quality systems and procedures.
  • Support the development of new quality systems and programs, and provide quality support for major commercialization projects.
  • Collaborate with laboratory supervisor to maintain and improve laboratory testing and equipment.
  • Have working knowledge and understanding of sanitation practices and procedures for the Enhancers department, and how they impact finished good products.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years' experience in a quality and/or technical leadership role or minimum 3 years of experience in operations/quality/technical (R/D).
  • Strong leadership, technical, communication and organizational skills required along with attention to detail.
  • Advanced knowledge of quality systems, procedures, & policies helpful.
  • Knowledge of statistical processes is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills (oral, written and verbal).
  • Planning and organizing skills.

Work Environment & Schedule:
This position is considered a Manufacturing plant environment with heavy machinery and equipment. The role requires the ability to work shifts, weekends, and all required overtime.
