Job Summary

The Operations Management Trainee will play a key role in supporting the shop management process and driving cost savings, customer retention, and metric-based initiatives. This position requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work cross-functionally across Operations, Asset Management, Sales, Quality, and Rental.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide quality customer interface and proactive customer management to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with the rental department to maximize utilization without compromising lease customers.
  • Partner with Sales staff on customer calls for new business and increased customer satisfaction.
  • Manage running costs and maintenance overheads to optimize efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Asset Management, Sales, and Marketing to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure accurate PM scheduling and follow-up, breakdowns, and vehicle status updates.
  • Oversee Technician work planning for efficiency, training, and flexibility.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • One (1) year or more customer service experience with issues resolution preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices.
  • Ability to prioritize work and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong mechanical skills and ability to create and maintain professional relationships.
Compensation and Benefits

The compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, including relevant experience, education, work location, market data/ranges, internal equity, internal salary ranges, etc.

Compensation ranges for the position are as follows:

  • Pay Type: Salaried
  • Minimum Pay Range: $50,000
  • Maximum Pay Range: $57,000

The position may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on the level and/or type.
