Key Responsibilities:
The Medication Technician plays a vital role in ensuring that residents receive their medications safely while providing compassionate physical and emotional support.

Core Duties Include:

  • Administer medications according to physician directives
  • Accurately document all medication administration
  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as personal hygiene and dressing
  • Communicate any concerns to the Wellness Director
  • Prioritize resident safety and overall wellbeing

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Support residents with daily tasks
  • Engage in the activities program
  • Perform light housekeeping duties
  • Accompany residents during meals and assist as needed
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions

Qualifications:

  • Completion of state-mandated training and certification
  • Good physical health with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds
  • Prior experience in Assisted Living settings is preferred
